It’s a new day. A new week! A brand-new opportunity to start (again)! New thoughts, a new mindset. Write down a goal for the day- go and achieve it. Write down a goal for the week- make it happen. Forget the big long-term goals for now- sometimes all it takes are small daily goal achievements that will eventually get you to reach the big one without that overwhelming feeling and pressure that come with big (and often unrealistic) goals. Maybe today’s goal is to make a phone call to someone you have spoken to in years or taking a walk during lunch hour and a weekly goal of not eating take-outs for a week etc
You actually start feeling better about yourself and more confident- ticking off one goal after the other- making you feel UNSTOPPABLE.
Sometimes we become so fixated on long term goals for the future that we forget to live in the present and most times those big long-term goal are simply overwhelming, causing unnecessary stress and making us feel like we’re never going to reach them anyway.
Rather put small steps in place to get you to your greater goal and enjoy every step.
