People who know that maintaining one’s goal weight is more difficult than losing the weight, ask me, how do I manage to keep it off and keep working on it? It took me a while to give an accurate answer as I too wanted to know how I do it…then it dawned upon me- I wasn’t doing it for me. I am doing it for my fellow sister who’s given up hope. I’m doing this to show the young girl that it can be done. I’m doing this for the mother who struggles to get her life back, the wife who doesn’t love herself anymore, for those who believe they can’t…and for my daughter – because discipline, willpower, dedication and self-love is not something I can teach her, so I show her.
